On Getting Back On Track
Go Within

Since I can remember, I always wanted to track progress on my activities and make sure I was moving forward.
Sports
Grades
Relationships
We all have times where we are moving “forward-head-of-steam”. Crushing life and thinking it will always be this way.
Then at times times we become stagnant
Ebbs and flows in life are inevitable.
You can perceive "being stuck" as a negative. Or you can do a re-frame and see it in a positive light.
Being stuck is as a sign for change.
Mel Robbins said on the Diary of a CEO podcast, "Feeling stuck is a signal".
A signal from yourself that there is a lack of growth and progress.
You are capable of more.
You want better for some part of your life, and that is where the negative emotions come from.
It does no good to dwell on it.
Put on some weight?
Slacking at the gym?
Stopped reading?
The Key: to re-frame the situation.
Yes, you have gotten stuck.
But how about getting unstuck right this minute?
Dig your heels in and get moving.
You aren’t perfect and you’re bound to feel resistance to life’s challenges.
But the happy, smart and successful recognize the internal turmoil is a sign to get their ass into action.
Overcome the obstacles.
They make life more fun.
Turn your head and distract yourself, or go within.
Do some internal work:
Breathwork
Meditation
Cold water
Intense exercise
Journaling
etc
Fix the demons head on.
Detach.
They are less problematic when seen.
All the voices telling you why you can’t.
Keep at them until they’re telling you why you CAN.
Thanks for reading!
Enjoy the weekend!
